I am enthusiastic about worship and love to include music and other creative elements in our celebrations.
Outside of the church, music is a big part of our family life. I love to read and knit, and we enjoy getting away to our cottage.

Director of Music: Len Feldman

Len Feldman has been a working musician for most of his life, playing keyboards and harmonica, singing, arranging, composing and directing in many different genres in venues around the world. Len also teaches music and leads choirs. One time, he borrowed a piano bench from Neil Sedaka without asking. He gave it back.

Office & Building Administrator: Tina Driscoll

Tina has lived in Oakville for 22 years, but is a Maritimer at heart. She has spent most of the last 20 years raising her children, but she was looking for a new adventure. The job at EMUC came into her life at just the right time: some would say it was meant to be! She is a very active member of Munn’s United Church: she sings in the choir, is Chair of the Community Development Committee and sits on the Unified Board (Tina “knows” church)!

Tina has a Bach. of Commerce Degree from St. Mary’s University, has worked at CIBC Telephone Banking, was a Manager of Internal Sales support for CIBC’s PIMS, managed Metro Self Storage, and has over 25 years of customer service experience.

She is enjoying her experience at EMUC, and counts herself blessed to be here. If the day gets hectic, she goes into the sanctuary and just breathes. Life is good!

Coordinator for Weddings/Funerals & Office Administrator Supply: Sylvia Arnold

I was raised on a farm in a rural community near Peterborough. I went to York University graduated with a degree in Geography and Sociology and then worked for Bell for 30 years in customer service, sales, marketing, corporate planning and as a business analyst.  I then worked part time as Office Administrator for Oikocredit Canada until 2016.

Living in a rural community, “the church” was an integral part of the community. From a very early age I was very involved in Cavan United Church.

I came to Erin Mills United in 1992.  I became involved in various committees and when I retired in 2001, I became more involved. In 2005 I became the backup office administrator, a job that allows me to meet many people and to help look after the church from an administrative and pastoral care perspective. Currently I am the Leadership Circle Leader for worship and music, sing in the choir. assist in organizing the Circle of Friends and act as wedding and funeral co-ordinator.

I have been the wedding and funeral co-ordinator since 2005 and I find that co-ordinating both weddings and funerals is truly fulfilling. It gives me such joy to see a happy bride and groom with their family and friends. I love to help them plan their wedding service, providing ideas for decorating, and giving suggestions for service flow in our church.  I am also comfortable supporting and caring for the needs of those who are grieving, by simply being there for them, listening, providing suggestions for the funeral service, flowers and reception.  For both weddings and funerals, I want those involved to feel and know that EMUC really cares for them.

On a personal note, I love gardening, music in its many forms, reading, walking and enjoying nature.
