Women for Women
Women for Women provides a time and place for EMUC women and friends to gather for learning, friendship, mutual support and fun. All ages are welcome. Shared leadership is a hallmark of the group. Your time and talent is welcomed - to plan a dinner/evening, invite a speaker, arrange an outing, help with food, make Sunday announcements, welcome new participants, help with set-up or clean-up and create the annual Retreat. How would you like to be involved? The group often meets on a Friday evening every couple of months. It is a great way to end a busy week with relaxation and community.
Women’s Retreat
Each spring women are invited to retreat together at a chosen centre or at a member’s cottage for a day or a weekend of friendship, calmness and reflections on faith. In 2017 the retreat was held at the Joshua Creek Heritage and Art Centre for one day.
