Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl group meets on the first Wednesday of each month to knit, crochet and chat together. They make prayer shawls to go out to anyone who needs a prayer; socks for chemotherapy patients; hats, scarves and mittens for our Christmas Hampers and the local drives for warm clothing; and sometimes they work on their own projects. They also have “Prayer Buddies,” sweet, little, hand-knit people who can carry a prayer and bring comfort. You do not need to be able to knit or crochet to join us, anyone is welcome to come and join in the conversation.
