Confirmation

Every second year, EMUC offers a Confirmation Program for youth who are 15 or older. The program is divided into four units which explore themes such as:

• God
• the Bible
• Church history
• Jesus
• Christmas
• Easter
• Social Justice
• the historic faith of the United Church of Canada

The program integrates games, popular media, off-site activities and mentorship as integral to faith formation. At the end of the program youth may choose to make their first public profession of faith at a worship service and formally become members of The United Church of Canada.
