  • Our Funding & Outreach

EMUC is self-supporting financially. We rely on various revenue streams to cover ongoing expenses of staff salaries, building maintenance, utilities, etc. The main revenue source is donations from members of the congregation and visitors, supplemented by income from sources such as building rentals, fundraising, and the sale of solar panel energy into the local energy grid.

Members of the congregation also financially support outreach into the community and beyond. This includes the Benevolent Fund which assists those in need in the community; the Deacon’s Cupboard, a food agency supported by EMUC; and the United Church of Canada’s Mission and Service Fund supporting its mission work in Canada and abroad.
